Where oddssea is different
- Everything in the price. The WebSocket stream, REST, both formats, fair prices, dropping odds and limit changes are in every paid plan. There are no add-ons and no request credits.
- History. Every line's price moves for 7 days and opening and closing prices for a year, through the API. For closing line value and model calibration, that's data you'd otherwise have to record yourself.
- ps3838-compatible. Code written for the ps3838 API (the shape Pinnacle's API had) works by changing the base URL.
- A prematch plan. If you only bet before kick-off, you don't pay for live.
- Published, continuous latency. Every update is measured, all the time, and the method is open.
When another provider may suit you better
- You want Pinnacle's own WebSocket frames passed through byte for byte. Some providers sell that; oddssea serves the odds in the ps3838 format and its own.
- You compare many bookmakers (line shopping). A multi-bookmaker aggregator is built for that; oddssea is Pinnacle only.
- You need a contract with an SLA. That's an enterprise product; ask us about a redistribution licence, or look at the enterprise providers.
